Giggles and tears. Such a beautiful day. Thanks to Jo at Jo Kemp Photography for capturing those giggles and tears.
Mum with her daughters.
Everyone stayed in the Hotel MiM in Sitges.
The service was held in the church on the seafront. The guests were able to walk which I love as the photo opportunities are great.
Kiri and her Dad travelled in a car. Very close father and daughter.
And Kiri´s smile didn´t stop ... not once!
The reception was held at Torre De Veguer which is a working winery in the Sitges area.
When the dinner was over the guests took to the grass (literally). The photographer then took my favourite photos of the year. This wedding was one that was a privilege to do, both myself and assistant and the services wished that every wedding could be just like this one. Thank you Kiri & Gary we think you are amazing!
From Kiri - Thank you once again for every single thing, I think you are totally amazing!

This is the story of Mario and Leah. My most hands on groom of the year. Mario had us smiling and enjoying the morning finishing all the creative details for his wedding to Leah.
Here is Leah´s story and their AMAZING photos by Rares Pulbere
Mario was born in Costa Rica and was fortunate enough to work and travel around the world for work and pleasure. I would describe him as strong willed and extremely passionate man, which is only exemplified by the Latin streak within him. Mario is caring, but most of all he maintains close ties with his family and has strong personal values which I truly admire. This is what ultimately attracted me to him.
Mario and I met whilst at work in Sydney. After a whirlwind 6 months, we fell madly in love and moved to the coast to start our new life. Fast forward one year, and here we are, on the other side of the word, beautiful Italy! I can safely say that the last years have been the best, even if we come from different cultures, with very different upbringings but in the end, we compromise and respect and support one another.
Being from different sides of the world, we decided to get married in Barcelona as it’s such a vibrant city with everything we love; delicious food, wine, with a beautiful city and coastline for all to enjoy. After researching online, we came across Almiral De La Font
I never dreamed that I would have a wedding planner, but I am so glad I did. Not being a local to the area, nor having any idea what my expectations should be, Philippa guided me through each step of the way. Our preference was always to support local businesses so this was ideal for us.
Philippa had creative ideas was able to decorate the venue and organise the flowers for the entire day. I was so impressed with her professional approach, and noted how I felt so calm throughout the day. Everyone commented on how beautiful everything was which was a testament to her work. I would like to thank Philippa from our entire families for providing us with the best day of our lives.
Back when spring was doing it´s best to show off my photographer friend and I decided to do a photoshoot. We wanted to show that an elopement wedding could be beautiful on a budget. To creative beautiful wedding that could be intimate and using a little imagination completely unique to the couple. Please click on a photo for the full post.

Summer is truly here and as I don´t have a wedding to busy myself with this coming weekend I thought I would share a few Spanish wedding inspiration photos. Enjoy!
Sarah the bride was totally chilled and relaxed. Daniel the groom organised everything. They drove from the UK to Spain over the Alps with everything needed to create a beautiful wedding day. With all their family and friends there to help the day went brilliantly. All the very best to Dan & Sarah with their new exciting life together in Malaysia.
I am busting to share the amazing offer on my blog. Wylie Brewery is offering to a group of minimum 30 the chance to hire FREE of charge the Wylie Bar for an evening. No free beer sadly.
Wylie´s is a brew pub in Sitges. Open to the public only on a Friday. The offer is the space for you and your guests for the evening (no event space charge).
The beer is brewed on site and if you wish for a guided tour you will be gathered up and whisked away to talk beer and beer equipment with much enthusiasm.
During your event (exception Fridays) you will have the bar completely to yourselves. No members of the public will be allowed in. A great opportunity to WOW guests and drink some award winning beer too!
Please contact Philippa Events or Wylie Brewery for more details.
M O R E I N F O - The Barcelona Beer Festival was held last week. There were over 300 beer varieties to try at this international festival. Wylie Brewery came away with two awards. Fantastic!
Barcelona - I took myself along to the Unusual Wedding Barcelona event last night and found this amazing service. The Unusual Wedding Barcelona is an annual event and this is their second year. I hope they have many many more.
I was super happy to bump into Pope & Poole. They are a photo booth truck business. They arrive to an event in their very cute VW van the interior of which is kitted out photo booth style. The images come in strips of 4 and the processing is speedy. They have props and a great neon sign that illuminates P H O T O S (great for your wedding photographer).
I am delighted to share a blog of one of my weddings here. Thanks to Rachael and Mark for a lovely day.
And thank you to Gardenia for sharing the images. Click here to see the post
It was lovely to open this email from the father of Danielle. Feedback is incredibly important for any business and of course when it is positive you feel very very happy.
Shirley and I can hardly believe it is nearly two months since that Saturday at Almiral de la Font -we can still remember an air of expectation on that morning coupled with just a little nervousness that all would be as expected.
The nervous feelings were of course unnecessary as all the meticulous planning and preparation delivered the day of our dreams and most importantly those of Danielle & Matt.
For the planning beforehand and for all of the hard work you put in to the day itself you have our wholehearted thanks. Furthermore, for being somebody that Danielle could totally rely on and have faith in, we also thank you as we have never seen her so relaxed and thereby able to enjoy her very special day, which in turn made all around her relax and also enjoy the day to the full.
We hope to be back to Sitges again at some point in 2017 and it would be great to meet up and share some time with you and Shane over a drink and perhaps some tapas.
In the meantime our very best wishes,
Terry & Shirley

Danielle and Matt got in touch with me in 2015. When I met them for first time it was to show them around some potential venues. After a mornings viewings and a lovely lunch I was delighted to be told they wanted me to be their planner. Here are some of the amazing photographs of the day and Danielle and Matt´s story.
We met 13 years ago working in a restaurant; Matt was originally a chef (now a plumber) and I was waitressing part time whilst still studying. We have been together for 12 years now… and in that time have bought a house, travelled the world and pretty much grown up together.
We got engaged in Santorini in October 2014; after 10 years of being together. It has become a running joke in the family that Matt would never propose so I think everyone was pretty relieved once he proposed. I think he actually enjoyed keeping everyone waiting that long.
We chose Sitges to get married as I have been holidaying with family there for over 20 years, and since Matt and I have been together, he has also become part of those trips and also fell in love with the town. We also wanted to turn the wedding into a whole weekend with a laid back feel so we could send as much time with our friends and family as possible. And we wanted everyone to experience Sitges and fall in love with it as we did.
The whole weekend turned out to be everything we could have asked for and more. The original 3 day plan turned into more of a 6 day wedding in the end, with people arriving into town from Wednesday onwards. It was pretty surreal to see everyone you know and love walking around the streets and in the restaurants where we have been going for so many years. It was actually quite overwhelming to have your closest friends and family in your favourite place in the world and realise that everyone had taken the time out to travel to be there to celebrate with us.
Big thank you to Danielle and Matt for being such a great couple. All the very very very best!
